St. Mary's Society

St. Mary's Society, part of Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Diocese of NJ, is a lively group of about 25 women of various ages.  The mission of the group is to serve the needs of St. Mary's by-the-Sea, but, in fact, our contributions reach well beyond our walls.  The Society has sponsored fall and spring rummage sales in each of the previous non-Covid years and looks forward to having a sale again this May.  In the recent past, the resulting funds have been distributed to pay our church's Fair Share to the Diocese, donations to General Seminary in NYC, and yearly contributions to the ECW United Thank Offering, as well as to parish needs such as funds for St. Gregory's Pantry, Mary's Table, bicycles for the Gift Auction, and donations to help pay for new church carpeting and a retaining wall.  We meet on the second Tuesday of every month from September through June at 1:00 PM in one of the two large church meeting rooms.  Please join us for a program, refreshments, a business meeting and friendship, if you can.
