ST. MARY’S CALENDAR OF EVENTS

“GRACEFUL EXIT”

Please plan on attending the educational programs after the 10 am service on every Sunday in November, “Graceful Exit: A Final Gift to Those We Love.” Featured speakers will be an attorney, a hospice worker, a funeral director, and our own Al Soyster & Mother Debbie to speak about planned giving and the funeral service.

ORGANIST SEARCH UPDATE

The search has ended!

Our new organist, AJ LoPorto, will begin at St. Mary’s on November 1st;

his first Sunday will be on November 3rd, when we celebrate All Saints’ Day. AJ has a Bachelor’s of Music from Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, with a minor in piano performance.

He is an accomplished accompanist with experience playing

in churches as well as community theatre.

ST. MARY’S PARKING LOT  We need your cooperation to maintain a safe environment in our parking lot.  Parking is allowed in lined spaces only. Parking alongside the memorial garden is not allowed at any time.  This space must be clear at all times for fire and emergency vehicles. Parking spaces should be used by those who most need them.  Thank you for your help!

 ALTAR FLOWER DONATIONS

The Altar Guild is again reminding you that a good way to honor or memorialize a friend or loved one is to offer Sunday flowers in their name. Forms can be found in the back of the church and a donation is requested to accompany the form. At this time we are focusing only on flowers, as they are again displayed weekly on the altar.

Wine and candles are not the focus though they are mentioned on the form. Completed forms should be returned to Cherisse. Any questions, please contact Laurie Clayton claytombs1961@hotmail.com. Thank you.
