Contact: Patti Villani
Interfaith Family Services of Ocean County is a non-profit, interfaith ministry committed to providing shelter, meals and assistance to homeless families. With our trained volunteers, our mission is to reach out with compassion and acceptance providing help, hope and a safe haven for our guest while they seek permanent employment and affordable housing. We increase community awareness and advocate responsible solutions to homelessness.
The following "thank you" letter explains the impact of our efforts to share some love.
Dear Patti,
We have all been facing the dark struggles of a pandemic year, however, you were a light in the darkness. We thank you and the congregants of St. Mary’s by the Sea for your heartfelt generosity for the families of Interfaith. You not only provided a holiday for Imani and Michael but it was a powerful affirmation of hope for the family. You have made a lasting impact their on the lives.
During the year, the gift of your time and talents helps to further our mission to aid families facing homelessness in Ocean County. In 2019, IHNOC provided 2,662 overnight accommodations and 7,986 meals to 47 people consisting of 20 adults and 27 children. Our work can’t be done with out people like you and for that we are eternally grateful.
Again, thank you for your dedication and all you do for our Interfaith families not only through the Holiday Gift Giving Program but throughout the year! It is only with the help of caring people, such as you, that we can continue to provide such vital services to children and their families facing homelessness.
