Altar Guild

The Saint Mary’s Altar Guild consists of both women and men, who commit their time and energy to ensuring that the church is properly prepared for all services, Sunday, and mid-week. Guild members are trained to dress the altar based on the church calendar, setup and cleanup for communion and special services, and ready the church for Holy Week and the Christmas season.   

Altar Guild teams rotate by week, taking turns to ensure the church is ready for services.  The Altar Guild serves at the pleasure of the priest so requirements may change based on her/his specific requests. New members are always welcome, must be members of St. Mary’s, 18 years or older.  Training is provided.
