We will begin by offering a single Rite II Service of
Holy Eucharist Sundays at 9 am. When enough people want
to return to church at any given time, we will begin our
former 8 am Rite I and 10 am Rite II services. We can
even add a third service at 12 noon, should the numbers
ever warrant that. The Diocese has approved a maximum
number of 50 persons but, out of an abundance of caution,
the vestry and I believe it is safest to begin with a
maximum number of 25.
We want to encourage those who discern the need to remain
safely at home to continue to worship with us online.
We are happy to mail you the weekly bulletins and scripture
readings. We are also happy to arrange for Holy Communion
to be brought to you by our team of Lay Eucharistic Ministers
on Sundays or whatever day works best for you. Please
call the office to make these arrangements.
Whether or not we are able to be in the same physical
space together, this time of physical separation has taught
us that the bonds of our Christian love and care for one
another are not constrained by geographic location. Our
“Beloved Community” of faith, hope and love
is always held together in the very heart of God. We know
that now, like never before! And we are grateful for each
and every one of you. You and your loved ones are constantly
in our hearts and prayers. May God bless us all as we
continue to love our way through these very challenging
times and circumstances. God is with us … ALWAYS!
With love, prayers and blessings,
